Stovetop Potpourri

Cranberry and orange Stovetop Potpourri

Simmering stovetop potpourri is one of my favorite ways to kick off the holiday season. The blend of citrus and warm spices fills your home better than any candle or air freshener ever could—not to mention using natural ingredients always wins in my book.

There are many ways to make stovetop potpourri.

I love this classic combination:

  • 1/2 cup of frozen cranberries
  • Orange slices
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half

Add all ingredients to a small pot, fill it with water, boil, and drop the heat to a simmer for as long as you want.

This comforting aroma will make your home feel inviting and incredibly cozy.

Have you ever made one? If not, give it a go; I promise you’ll want to recreate it every year!

Ahhhh…. big inhale.
