Shifting Winds and Winter Reflections
I have to confess—I spent a good chunk of time recently marveling at the magic of lake-effect snow.
Have you heard of it? It happens when cold air sweeps across a lake’s unfrozen waters, soaking up moisture and turning it into snow. Then, BAM—it gets dumped…somewhere.
Here’s the twist: The wind’s direction makes all the difference. Depending on the wind, one area might be buried under snow while the sun is shining just a mile away. That’s the beauty (and unpredictability) of lake-effect snow.
And isn’t that a little like our career paths? Sometimes, all it takes is one slight shift to change everything.
