Purpose
They’re not looking for perfection but want to understand how you manage mistakes. Keep your story structured, emphasizing learning and improvement.  

Choosing What to Talk About 
Focus on minor errors that led to significant lessons. Avoid ongoing character flaws, critical job skill errors, and controversial issues.

Effective Response
Use the OAR framework—Objective, Action, Result. Provide context, describe your mistake and response, and highlight what you learned.
